This does not compute. If Trump, who read the report last night, really believed that he found no further corroboration in Ford's testimony, why wouldn't he encourage full transparency and allow us to see the results today?

If the FBI falters on Kava-NO....we are in deep DEEP shit w the whole 'Mueller Love' thing we have been doing here for the past couple years. I pray to the gods we put the countries faith in the right person(s). The FBI needs to crack a few of these cases and get the country on the right track again. We aren't paying our taxes for a Brown Shirt group of cops and Federal Enforcement Officers to hang America out to dry bc they have sided-up with some political ideas in their heads. If it's not ok to be a Democrat as an FBI agent...it's not ok to be a Repub either. That's just how it goes. It's ridiculous the Pres got away w clearing the decks of any Dems in the investigation and should've been fought tooth and nail w Strozk and others who just dared to have an opinion.
If law enforcement thinks we are all just going to keep going along w a sham investigation(s), then they have another think coming. The "Liberal Tears" the Right loves to crow about, will be 'tears of joy' when we show these son of a bitches that just bc we've followed the rules so far, and given law enforcement the benefit of the doubt, doesn't mean that can't change...in a hurry. We shall hit the streets...just for starters.
Plan on being at the polls most of the day this year bc they are already lining up gop thugs in gop gear and t-shirts etc, based on the decisions that came down the last 24 months of an already right leaning Federal Juduciary. A minority is trying to stage a coup based on fear and ugliness. It's not our nature, but, it better start to be if we intend to fight for the land under our very feet and our kids we love so dearly.

It's a cursory thing for public relations so Mitch McConnell et al can claim the FBI looked into it. But the facts are otherwise. From all those who have not been contacted, the very short time frame, the narrow scope and the secrecy to minimize the outcry before the vote, they never had any intention of investigating Kavanaugh and acting on it. It's just a facade to ram him through.

Are kept confidential as a matter of regulation to encourage witnesses to speak freely to the FBI without fear of backlash/retribution.

(A Form 302 is the form federal agents fill out when talking with witnesses.)

Source: me being a government employee for forever and having been interviewed by the FBI/ATF/IRS about bad people doing bad things and being handed a copy of the regulation because I was worried I would get fired for ratting out a pretty senior person who knew about the problems and did nothing.
