(7,725 posts)At this point any Dem who minces words like Manchin is a real problem. Manchin...if you need an investigation after seeing his and her testimony under oath, then you aren't qualified to be a Senator. Sorry man. Bravo for these folks opposing him to his face.
If they got a dino elected once, they can run a dino-lite replacement then hit the gas when they are elected. I don't give two shits about the apologists threads about Joe Manchin. He gives us majority numbers...IF we are the majority..(at best).if not...he's just a another repub vote...and you all know it...including the Manchin apologists here. He needs to be replaced and SOON, bc he Effs up things so often and gets major credit for a few scant votes he literally made bc SOMEONE on our side paid him more...or it affected him personally.
LISTEN TO HIM ABOVE....almost as if he needs more reasons to vote no...ergo the "investigation". Wise up you guys over there.
BRA-VO to these two Democratic women. NICE job forming your argument. He can say NO to a bunch of campaign worker constituents and reserve the right to vote yes if he so feels. The idea that he won't say....is troublesome. Better do the right thing Joe.
**** Dems are TIRED of having to sway/convincing repubs to switch their votes even more, to cover your GD vacillation votes....

(2,872 posts)have to have this conversation about a Democrat.. I get the moderate & women on the Republican side of things.. poking & prodding them to do the RIGHT thing - that is understandable.. but this is ridiculous - the leadership need to step up..

When we get power back, we'll set some ground rules that are fair for all of us. We have Gerrymandering initiatives under way in many states. We have to be ready to write them up fairly, and quickly. We win when we aren't opposed by cheaters. That's one of the reasons they cheat. This whole group has got to be checked into the boards. We are NOT a crooked nation. The"president" is illegitimate. Lets not let him ruin everything by doing things the same way, as what got us here. We aren't the next Soviet State.

(9,874 posts)Since their votes would be superflous, they'd have the OK from the Dem caucus to do that for political cover. Otherwise, if they are the deciding votes, I believe they will vote no.
