On what basis do you predict "wipeout" coming?

Rather than running victory laps at this point, which tends to suppress turnout, we should be telling Democratic voters that races are close and every vote is needed.

Think back to 2016, when we were cheering a Clinton victory well before it happened. How many of our voters thought, "Well, it's raining and I'm tired. She's sure to win, so I won't bother to vote. They don't really need me." We all know how that turned out, right?

5. At least three of those contributions should be illegal.

You contributed to the campaigns of candidates in whose districts you do not reside. They do not represent you, and you have no legal interest in their election. This is just another example of political candidates receiving money from outside interests, and is part of the corruption of our electoral process.

Individuals who are US citizens should be able to give to any candidate they like anywhere in the country, within limits set by law.

Get the PAC and corporate money out first. That’s the dirty money.

15. The current split in CA is 39 to 14

If we pick up a net 5 that would bring the split to 44 to 9

That is considered a wipe out.

That level has a significant impact in 3 major ways

1) Signicantly reduces the pool of possible Republican candidates for statewide office

2) Brings huge economy of scale to party operations so that Dems can use their significant CA fund raising outside the state.

3) Significantly depresses Republican candidate recruitment in down ballot races, like state legislature or city council because candidates can't see realistic long term careers.
