Any wavering Senator, even endangered Democratic Senators in Red States, can use that as their basis for voting against Kavanaugh. Every time they speak they should cite the seemingly damning statements of witnesses that the FBI was not allowed to collect testimony from. If need be they can say that they simply do not know if Kavanaugh was guilty of any inappropriate or criminal sexual behavior. THAT is the point. They have been prevented from receiving evidence that could potentially shed light on the matter, and so the shadows of doubt remain, along with an inescapable conclusion that there might be something to hide since a real investigation has been stymied. A life time appointment to the Supreme Court is too important a decision to make under these circumstances. Period.

and he wasn't recorded on camera perjuring himself.

Americans are not stupid, we all know why you would not allow the FBI to interview Kavanaugh, it would have been all over if you did, he would either have to admit he perjured himself, or lie to the FBI by claiming he didn't. It would be a checkmate seminario, so none of these other smoke and mirrors matter.

then this will be a black mark against the entire court. Were any others given a pass like this? How can citizens respect the court, if this tainted sexual predator, drunk, perjurer is approved to serve? Does McConnell REALLY have that much power over the politicians? This all too sad "investigation" was nothing more than a cover their own asses so they can vote to confirm K. Anyone who inquires are going to get this reply, "well, we DID allow for an FBI investigation and they found nothing to add..."

I knew from the beginning this was a farce.

What I find most diconcerning is the fact that any democrat would go along with it. Really? Gee repukes I just love to be hit over the head, again, again and again. Please more.

It is no wonder, to me at least, why democrats don't win many elections. Yes, more than a million or 2 actually voted for Clinton but that was from the east and west coast strongly democratic. Dems failed to capture those fly over states that cost them the White House in 2016.

Democrats need a better strategy if they ever expect to win seats in Congress and the White House.

Sadly though, I predict that every Republican will vote for him, and they'll get to slap a 'bipartisan' label on the whole sordid affair because at least one of Heitkamp, Manchin, or Donnelly will vote to approve. Then that piece of bro trash will be on the court for the rest of my life...
