legitimacy (as it relates to tRump himself). Rather, I think they should have played up the fact that the WH handcuffed the investigation by severely limiting what the FBI could look into.

I do not believe that we should support him him further by blaming the FBI. That plays right into the Putin/Trump hand. Divide and conquer and diminish our belief in our institutions and the rule of law. I do understand her frustration as I share it. But until November...

what would she have said to the FBI that she was not willing to say in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee? I don't seem to recall her remarks being cut off at any point.
