He has that person of indeterminate gender who saw the punch being spiked/drugged, knows Kavanaugh's claim of virginity is laughable and other things. Now is the time for that person to come forward and be a patriot, and possibly, to act like a man.

(13,877 posts)in a case like this. It's not about him being drunk anymore anyway. The bar has been lowered to perjury...which has already been proven but not "enough". If I were that person, especially now, I would not come out. Pretty sure Avenatti knows that and won't bring him/her out. Too little, too late, not enough time or facts to corroborate.

(6,377 posts)But I also understand that this is an incredibly tall task because the assault happened so long ago, there were no witnesses who said "Yes, I saw him push her into the bedroom and try to rape her" and no physical evidence. If it was a criminal case being brought to court, the judge would throw it out immediately.

(6,377 posts)"She also accused Kavanaugh of spiking drinks and giving them to girls but could not say whether she ever saw it happen."
"I cannot specifically say that he was one of the ones who assaulted me,"
"I don't know what he did"
"NBC News, for the record, has not been able to independently verify her claims. There are things she told us on camera that differ from her written statements last week," Snow reported earlier in the segment. "We've been trying independently to reach out to anyone who remembers attending parties with Julie Swetnick and Brett Kavanaugh and we've been asking her attorney for names. So far, we've not found anyone who remembers that."

(13,877 posts)The real question is do they want to be smeared on national television, have their own backgrounds under a microscope and finally...these are likely all professional, intelligent, respected and well-heeled people.
#metoo has a long way to go, but at least it is going. Public awareness is heightened and a slow cultural shift is happening. The environment is beyond where it was in the 60s. It's up to the women first, I'm sorry to say.
Step 1. Back off, Buster
Step 2. I'm going to the cops...I have your DNA under my fingernails.
Step 3. Find out who your Real Friends are.
And I'm no Pollyanna. The first one barely worked for me at 16 on the first family-in-law attempt. The workplace incidents would have cost me my job. But I made sure they never happened again.

"When does the greed stop, we ask."
