Supposedly Jeff Flake is still "having issues"

@elainaplott
Writer, @TheAtlantic.

I’m told by source with direct knowledge that Flake is “still having issues” and that some colleagues are trying to “walk him through them.” Sen Coons tells me just now that Flake reached out to him and asked if they could speak at length later.

and he is on the record saying perjury is disqualifying. I also think he was troubled by temperament. It's a conflict for him because he is completely on board with how Kavanaugh would likely rule.

If these two men show any courage of conviction I think our chances start to look real good. Come on guys do not let America down. Plenty of whack job Federalist Society types to hitch your wagons to instead of an unhinged conspiratorial partisan hack who literally believes he should do what he wants with women's bodies.

Either he puts someone accused of multiple cases of assault on the Supreme Court, or he does the right thing, and forces them to nominate someone else.

As soon as he stated that he wouldn't have wanted an investigation if he was up for reelection. That there is nothing to gain these days, by reaching across the aisle.....

What am I saying? That's what the perfect Republican candidate would say.

vestigial and undersized, to be sure, but a tiny little baby conscience nonetheless.
and it's not letting him sleep too good on this KKKavanaugh thing.

"Jeff go to sleep"
"Sorry, I can't, the baby's crying again."

Coons excels at old school relationship building. He said other senators usually pay little attention to him because of his quiet personality. But he has built a strong relationship and friendship with Flake. I've found it interesting that the two have been appearing and doing interviews together.

Oh for fucksakes,
KravenNope is a :

* Blackout drunk
* White Elitist Brat
* A highly Political Partisan Individual
* A Political Operative
* Has Zero respect for women
* Is a Prevaricating Liar
* Lacks the Required Judicial Temperament
* He will severely diminish rather than enhance the Supreme Court.

… "having issues" looked good on him... but, it's time to take a stand. To the general public, he looked like a grown-up. Now, he's looking wishy-washy. He needs to make up his mind and take a strong stand while the time is right... now.
