I can easily see Flake running as an independent in 2020 for his ego and to act as a spoiler

for Trump. I don't think even he has any delusions that he has a future in either the Republican or Democratic parties. The former hates him and the latter has no place for someone who has gone on the record in support of numerous conservative positions.

I guess he gets credit for admitting that on some level, but he just admitted that he only acts ethically when he doesn't have a personal political stake involved.

Hardly the basis for leading a responsible governance movement.

And he talks incessantly about how corrupt the process was. I can see his supporters causing all types of chaos, including voting for Flake as to them, the lesser of 3 evils - their idiocy will insure that 30% of voters give us Donald Trump for a second term.
