His demeanor is so calming and he explains things so thoughtfully and precisely.

(23,319 posts)Sometimes Chuck Rosenberg seems a little sad to me. He has o be personally distressed a our current state of affairs. However, his measured tone and depth of knowledge is comforting.

(10,419 posts)If I'd committed decades to the FBI in terms of nonpartisan justice and witnessed what a mess the system has become - it's understandable.
If, heaven forfend, I needed a lawyer I'd have him on speed dial.

(23,319 posts)I pay close attention to....his twitter is especially good. Oddly (or maybe not so odd) he also strikes me as a little sad, especially when he reports on the DOJ.
On another note, I just re-read my above post and holy hell I clearly need to proof read! In my defense, I have an elderly kitteh in my lap and typing is challenging. 😏

(10,419 posts)As for elderly kittehs, I have one that is a biter. He is not named Darth Kitty for nothing. I limit his petting to 3 strokes at a time otherwise I'd be in urgent care. Love him to death though and he is a character.

(54,256 posts)My daughter had one.
The cat from hell.
Jump up in your lap and purr and curl up and you stroke her and she'd just bite the shit out of you. Draw blood.
God, I hated that cat.

(10,419 posts)I ended up in Urgent Care after a nasty bite through the meaty part of the thumb that got horribly infected. The doctor said he ,would have to report it as a dangerous animal and looked at me meaningfully. I said "Oops, I accidentally stabbed myself with a barbecue fork" and he tore up the paperwork.

(5,270 posts)"A spokesperson for the DEA confirmed Rosenberg's resignation but wouldn't comment on a report in The New York Times, which quoted law enforcement officials as saying Rosenberg had become convinced that Trump "had little respect for the law."
Rosenberg, 57, was kept on by Trump, but his future with the administration came into doubt after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey a close associate whom Rosenberg had served as chief of staff.
But Rosenberg has already publicly criticized the president, saying in a memo to the agency's employees on July 29 that Trump's remarks in a speech to law enforcement officers "condoned police misconduct."

The appeal of Steve "Docker's Khakis" Kornacki is lost on me, sadly.

(5,812 posts)and found the perfect FBI guy. I love everything about him -- his ties, his glasses, and, oh, that wonderful voice!!!!! And and top of all of that, he is smart, well-spoken, logical, and comforting in the times we have to endure at this time.

(10,419 posts)MSNBC is our default channel 24/7 so I can't remember when he was last on, but Rachel and Lawrence and Tweety and Nicolle have him on every day.
Chuck is my broadcast version of a chair massage.

(275 posts)He has such quiet strength aura, speaks in soft tone, can explain questions about FBI's workings/DOJ questions, answers in a professional manner, and breaks down the questions so lay people can understand.
Love Joyce Vance and Barbara McQuade also - they answer professionally, break down the legal questions in a way lay people can understand.
