(Don't dare respond to this thread with demoralizing "it's over" posts. It is only over if you don't TRY!)
I just got off the phone with Christine from this tweet and she was lovely.

Who took Mark Udall's place. Effing sad. But if he votes NO here then I will move him above pond scum on my likes rating list.

(46,166 posts)There's no joke here.
I just wrote to him because he's one of my senators. It's a civic duty so spare us the snark today.

(46,166 posts)I asked him to vote NO for the sake of his two daughters. It was a little over the top but no cussing.
Told him that I don't want any guy like Kavanaugh to get away with pawing his daughters. He may never see my note but it might give someone in his office an image to ponder.

(8,203 posts)I think the fourth Republican could be Cory Gardner, who has said he wanted to wait until after FBI investigation to decide and is up for re-election in 2020 in a state that went for Hillary by 5 points. I dont know how he manages to fly under the radar most of the time.

(2,795 posts)Told him he's already at risk for 2020 because he doesn't listen to his constituents and only listen to Mitch and Trump. I asked him to be the hero, be the maverick, be the one to take a stand and vote for morality and integrity instead of being a lap dog.
I bet there are a lot of Republican squeamish about voting for this lying perv. If they could just get a group and have strength in numbers, especially the blue/purple state repubs, then maybe it wouldn't be as scary as being the lone one or two to take it all down.

(5,324 posts)She might win her primary with a yes vote but she'd have no chance after that.
At least as a hero she might hang on to those on the left who were silly enough to vote for her in the first place.

(2,795 posts)There is already that huge fund for whomever the Democrat challenger will be. Just waiting with little work on that candidate's part. Just jump right in.
At least if she does the right thing and stands up for women like she tries to make everyone believe, she might get reelected.
