Chris Matthews just read some of it on air on MSNBC. It is a whiney screed about how he is innocent and all he was doing on Thursday was defending himself.

Matthews mocked him: "This guy thinks he is Billy Bud."

Well, I have no idea who Billy Bud is, but in the context it wasn't a compliment.

It is unseemly.
