They fear for their lives.?. If one of them votes no and Roe Vs. Wade continues to be the road which enables "abortionists " to kill all those beautiful babies.. How frightened would that Senator be who ruined The repeal of Roe Vs Wade!?
The fucking Republicans have spent years protecting these anti-abortionist lunatics and are aware of how fucking insane they are.
Yep... Its more than Roe vs. Wade.. Its about physical retaliation
these dumb Repub. Senators are now in some jam.

democracy. They will vote whichever way will save their skin and keep them in office. Most are unfit to serve in the Senate IMO.

In the United States, violence directed towards abortion providers has killed at least eleven people...

According to statistics gathered by the National Abortion Federation (NAF), an organization of abortion providers, since 1977 in the United States and Canada, there have been 17 attempted murders, 383 death threats, 153 incidents of assault or battery, 13 wounded,[13] 100 butyric acid stink bomb attacks, 373 physical invasions, 41 bombings, 655 anthrax threats,[14] and 3 kidnappings committed against abortion providers.

One cynical theory I've heard is that anti-abortion radicalism may have gotten started when Catholic cardinals and bishops feared new medical procedures making abortion safe could catch on and threaten the size of their future flocks and fortunes. Something like that could also conceivably be true for some salesmen who want more customers, not fewer, and some politicians who want more constituents and power, not less.
