Collins will vote Yes on Cloture but is MUM on how she'll vote on nomination until 3pm speech

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) will announce how she plans to vote on Brett Kavanaugh’s final confirmation during a 3 p.m. ET Senate floor speech, NBC News reports.

That suggests that this morning’s cloture vote might not be the same as final vote. Collins is expected to vote yes on cloture

They could get this behind them by voting No this morning. 51 no votes and it's over. Garrett78 Oct 2018 #5

vote for cloture. I have a feeling that when the final confirmation vote comes that all it will take is for one Repug Senator to vote no and that would open the flood gates for other Repug Senators to follow suit. It would give them cover to vote Kavanaugh down.
