Unless you have a statement from her. I posted the Rueters tweet that says she is still undecided.

As you know, they have a "whatever works" approach to politics.

That said, Murkowski might still want just a little bit of redemption before she leaves the Senate.

They made her write in election possible.

If she crossed them she couldn't get elected dog catcher in Nome.

Also a strong honorable mention to Senator Hirono for making Kavanaugh's ruling against native peoples rights a public issue.

That was her promise to the people she represents. Murkowski was on the fence with this all along. She took her campaign direct to the people and they believe in her sincerity. Joe Miller took himself down with the help of a persistent newspaper reporter who stayed hot on his ass. For it Miller had him hand cuffed ! Murkowski learned a very valuable lesson, that lesson is stay engaged with the people. That is what those meetings were all about.

But Murkowski said that in the final tally she would ask that her vote be recorded as "present," saying she was doing it as a courtesy to Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), who is slated to attend his daughter's wedding back home on Saturday.

"I do this because a friend, a colleague of ours is in Montana this evening and ... he's going to be walking his daughter down the aisle and he won't be present to vote," Murkowski said. "I have extended this as a courtesy to my friend. It will not change the outcome of the vote."

The move described by Murkowski is known as "pairing" a vote, which will allow her to initially vote "no" on Saturday but then withdraw her vote and change it to "present."

Murkowski announced her decision hours after it became clear that Kavanaugh had enough votes to be confirmed.

By diluting it to a mere "present" vote, it means if Manchin was posturing today to get Daines to go to the wedding thinking this was in the bag, even if he votes No it's going to be a 49-49 tie, with Pence able to split the tie.

Could give cover for Manchin to "have a chance of heart" and make it a partisan nomination completely though, too.

This way even if Manchin has a change of heart, the vote would be 49-49, a tiebreaker with Pence doing it and Daines still getting to fully participate in his daughter's wedding.

Sorry, I'm jaded and triggered and into the liquor. Maybe she does care. I just can't see it right now.

I probably ought to go watch something uplifting in comparison -- like "Threads".

She's a coward who was willing to vote no only if it didn't affect the outcome. The definition of having your cake and eating it too.

She just sold out Alaskan Natives and women.

She was teabagged in the GOP primary and has no love for the wingnutty base.
And despite Collins' BS "moderate" planting, Murkowski has quietly walked the walk

Once Collins said she'd vote Yes, both Manchin and Murkowski were free to vote in the safest way possible, to retain their seats.

Had Murkowski's vote meant anything, bet you dollars to donuts she would have voted Yes.
