Why anyone thought for even a second that she'd vote no is beyond me. She always does this. She's Lucy with the football. The next time she pulls a stunt like this - disingenuously pretending to be thoughtful and conflicted - she should just be ignored because you know damn well what she'll eventually do.

Is going to jerk that football away at the last second, but we keep hoping that somehow this time it will be different.

So I sit here ticking off her lies and her partisan slant, seeing her for what she is, a steadfast Republican, but deep in my heart, I just know we will see this same scenario replayed the next time... And the next time after that.
