How many times have we learned this lesson when a "nice, moderate republican governor" appoints a replacement senator

Like here in PA for State Sen. Marguerite Quinn. Huge billboards in green and yellow. Ads all over FB. NOT ONE MENTION that she’s a Republican! So I commented that on one of her FB ads and got tons of crap “she’s good for the environment” and the ever-popular “it doesn’t matter what party she is.” Yes it does, idiots. Check her voting record.

"You don't vote for the party you vote for the candidate" because it's bull. You better know what the parties actually believe and never try and separate the candidate from their party when casting a ballot.

... they're the ones who need the candidate to "speak to me" and makes them feel special and "give them a reason" to vote for the Democrat. They're the ones who like to "send messages" by not voting or by voting for Stein.

I blame no-winners/no-losers youth soccer and "participation trophies for everyone". I also blame people like Susan Sarandon. I hope she never shows her face in public again.
