I listened to just a bit of Collins on the ride home. All I heard was obfuscation and lies. No mention of what republicans did to Merrick Garland. No mention of the trauma to abused women, clearly no thought of the ramifications of placing an abuser on the - holy shit! - supreme court. What this is, is now open season.

As a 62 year old male with my beloved wife and two daughters, I could not be more appalled, or embarrassed for our country.

Sure, go vote - blah blah blah - of course. But at this point, I am just paralyzed with bitterness and outrage.
