She has a net worth that is somewhere around a billion dollars, real net worth, not Trump funny money. Her daddy was a major investment banking honcho and she was either an only child or one of two.

They met at Stanford. He's an ABC TV producer. It would be nice to have someone smart, honest and well-spoken as a Maine Senator. Cannot STAND to listen to Collins -- I think perhaps she actually has a speech impediment, which is why she speaks to slowly and pronounces every damn syllable.....

The Doctor is the first democrat to declare. I personally like State Rep Jared Golden, especially if he unseats Poloquin for Maine's US House 2nd district seat. His house seat will come out of cycle at the right time and he would be known statewide. In addition, he is a Marine Vet who actually was an aid to Collins (so he would know her bad points).
