How long has she lived there? Mainers don't like blow ins. I'm as appalled as everyone else but let's think this through.

7. Yeah, very true. We've pretty much lost if we pick some one who just moved here to run for office.

I'm not aware that she lives here. Better off to be life long Mainer. Christ, Emily Cain lost twice against Poliquin. Republicans will use being an "out of stater" against us. They did with Emily. She moved here to go to college, but was from KY before then. You aren't a real Mainer unless you were born and raised here and lived here pretty much your whole life. It's ok if you went some place else for a few years, like college, but you better come back. Take too long and you cease to be a Mainer. That's how people are around here. So true. Hell, my dad was from NH, which isn't much different than Maine. He got crap for years and years about being an out of stater.
