with a healthy pinch of salt. If we can eventually extract some kind of progress out of this whole mess, or at least if future generations can learn from it all, I'm all for it, but frankly this sounds a little bit Sarandonesque to me (like, "some people say if [redacted] is elected, The Revolution will start immediately!&quot if you're talking about living in a country where kleptocratic minority rule is propped up by a compromised judiciary, that kind of happy horseshit doesn't hold a lot of water while jackbooted thugs are hauling you away as a dissident, ICE is ripping your neighbors' children away and sending them to concentration camps in the desert, or screeching christofascists are stomping all over your reproductive rights.

Approach it as a 8 seat court.

In a 4-4 decision the lower court ruling should stand.
