You know, back when we had a supermajority?
Unfortunately, that "majority" included a ratfucker named Joe Lieberman that prevented us from pushing forward a truly progressive agenda, and we got our asses handed to us in the midterm.
So my message to you is STOP defending republican-lite and stop rewarding bad behavior. It's not worth it, and it will NEVER be worth it.

(6,377 posts)You're not going to win as a Democrat unless you're a blue dog. I'd rather have than then some Republican who's voting with Trump every single time.

(7,143 posts)Nonetheless, and despite everything you think you know about him, he had been a fairly reliable liberal Senator. He certainly had nothing to do with the 2010 midterms except, perhaps, to have voted for the ACA, which was the rallying call for Republicans to storm the Congress.
Your OP, along with your own responses to it, are ill-contrived and utterly useless.

(68,586 posts)In the end, Lieberman voted for healthcare which saved millions of lives. You will never have a majority in the Senate without conservadems.
