They should have let him be a "martyr" to the "Femi-Nazis" and selected some conservative who kept it in his pants. Then, the GOP could have capitalized on Kavanaugh by using him to make white Republican men afraid.

Instead, they have made Democrats angry. And angry Democrats vote.

The statute of limitations on the assault has run long ago (it was a misdemeanor in 1982), and lying to Congress is a federal crime. I can't think of any state crimes he might have committed.
