I read Realclimate.org every day. The people that get paid to do climate science* contend no individual event can be ascribed to anthropogenic climate change.

What is equally well modeled is that weather variations which were once, say, a once-in-a-hundred-years event, are becoming far more frequent.

If you haven't read the latest IPCC report, you should. It's rather damning; especially coming from a scientific body that is, like most all things science related, circumspect in their pronouncements.

*I'm an applied scientist - an engineer; but I try and stay abreast of current developments in things other than those concerning circuits and semiconductors.
