Is It God's Wrath?

Please don't strike me dead. I'm honestly not trying to make light of the suffering others are feeling from this terrible storm. But is it possible that God is having second thoughts? After all the "God's Wrath" crap we have been subjected to (by the religious right) over the years for having Democratic (patriotic) ideals, maybe just maybe, it's our time. Hurricane Michael is cutting through some of the staunchest right wing areas. The Florida panhandle, Georgia, South Carolina (ugh!) and North Carolina.

Yes, there is sarcasm in my statement, but at this point in our country's history, I can't help it. The republiCONS have shoved it down out throats for too long.

Now it's off to show true American spirit and donate to the relief effort.

Who actually believe that shit. They don't like it when it's turned against them.

"Ah, the hurricane missed Hawaii. There go all the erections of 'ministers' looking forward to claiming it was God's wrath for electing Obama."

"Tony Perkins of Focus on the Family says that natural disasters are God's punishment.. guess who lost his home during the floods in Louisiana."

But nothing is better than the Daily Show when Stephen Colbert ran the God Machine.
