I just don't get CNN's Lisa Ling's "This Is Life"

Am I the only one who never really feels any impulse to sit through her shows?

Not sure how I'm supposed to feel about some of her topics.

If you told me she was some sort of synthetic android - I would believe it. Maybe its the TV makeup.

Am I just getting too old?

because she does have some interesting topics but I don't care much for her. I don't dislike her, for me she is not enough to make me want to watch. Somehow her shows always seem to end up more about her than the topic. That may very well just be a personal bias of mine since I do not really care one way or the other about her. Let's just say, I do not set the DVR to record her show.
