Just one of the things I hate about this administration.

I like to stay on top of things. I like to know what is going on in the world.

There is no peace with Trump and his cronies.

You can't go to the bathroom, you can't step away for lunch, you can't do some work, you can't take a nap...without some horrible, heinous and unbelievable news breaking.

I fear that if I turn my phone off for a few hours, or step away from the computer, I'll miss the nuclear war alert.

came home to find out Trump had hosted a manic episode by Kanye West, complete with F-bombs, in the Oval Office on live national TV. The inmates really are running the asylum.

... it's Thursday.

Not all breaking news is actually breaking news.

Relax, take a nap. The world will be here when you wake. Or it won't.

Refreshingly, they talk about Trump only when absolutely necessary. And it's not absolutely necessary very often.

Double points for showing his awful face only if it's absolutely necessary.

I've been slowly cutting back on my news watching- I watched Harlem Nights, followed by Eddie Murphy's Raw 2 nights ago. What a rip roaring time I had for a night home alone instead of being glued to MSNBC, DU and news feeds. And when I logged on again, the same bad news was being played on a loop again. What I missed earlier, was being played again. I was glad I took the time to get some comedic relief.
