CT-Gov - Democrat Ned Lamont holds 8 point lead over Trump embracing Republican

This is a race Republicans thought they had a great shot at with highly unpopular Democratic governor Dan Malloy stepping down after 8 years at the helm. However, it looks like Republican Bob Stefanowski has closed a bit of ground since the last Q poll, and another poll last week had Stefanowski ahead by a small amount.

A new Quinnipiac Poll shows Democrat Ned Lamont leading Republican Bob Stefanowski 47 percent to 39 percent in the governor’s race, with independent candidate Oz Griebel at 11 percent.

Lamont has a 22 point lead among women and a 6 point lead among independent voters with less than a month to go until Election Day.

The 11 percent for Griebel is the highest in any poll so far and has vaulted him into two upcoming televised debates.

there was the AARP poll that had Stefanowski with a small lead.

But, Q is a reputable poll and has a slight Republican bias if I recall.

Lots of people scream about taxes, but, it's a blue state, afterall. Plus, Lamont is a business guy, so, there won't be enough rejection vote for a nobody to win.
