ICE put a 4-year-old on a plane to Guatemala. Her dad found out 30 minutes before she landed

(CNN)Six months after US officials separated them at the border, ICE put a 4-year-old girl on a plane to Guatemala this week so she could be reunited with her father.

But there was one major problem, according to advocates who worked on the case: The man didn't learn his daughter was coming until 30 minutes before her flight was set to land in Guatemala City.

He lives eight hours away -- too far to get there in time. After half a year apart from her father, the girl would have to spend another night in a shelter alone.

The case sparked fury and frustration this week from advocates working to help reunite children with deported parents. It's an example, they said, of a reunification effort that remains needlessly chaotic at times, even months after a federal judge ordered the US government to reunite the immigrant families it separated.

Terrorists working against the US and US interests and businesses. They've been treated so poorly, and for no good reason, when they just wanted to come here to be safer or escape poverty. The kids who were separated from their parents could easily be headed towards severe psychological problems.

They will grow up to hate everything about America. And their parents will hate us
too when they see what we have done to their children. Are we great again yet?

They must have an ideological reason to do this crap. I mean obviously someone had to escort her. Someone getting paid, having their own day to day work related activities. Assuming they handed her off to someone else. Still someone had to be responsible for this child.

Who are they? How do they sleep at night?

that any international airliner would have agreed to allow an unaccompanied four-year old to get on an international flight, particularly one bound for a war-torn, dangerous country. We should find out which airline this was, then put pressure on them and all other airlines to stop participating in situations that are inhumane, and/or that invite child-trafficking.

the article doesn't say. And the ICE spokesperson claimed the flight timings were a security issue and that's why it was kept secret.

They do it on purpose. The cruelty is to teach people a lesson in whose lives matter.

you will all stand up with me to demand justice by way of trying these people for crimes against humanity in an international tribunal.

We did not accept the excuse that, "I was only following orders" from the concentration camp guards at the Nuremberg trials, and we should not accept it now. Many ICE agents resigned over this policy, and those that stayed are as guilty of these crimes as those who ordered them.

Right up to the pile of crap in the White House, and the Republicans in the Senate and House who ran interference for this horrible policy.
