I look at the mass produced flyers but throw them away. On the other hand, I would definitely be so impressed with a handwritten version that I would keep it.
No kidding they would make a borderline case more likely to vote.
If widespread it wouldn't hold up to 20% increase but any fraction of that is valuable.
