Blake Fischer - killer of baboon families - just resigned from his fish and game commission post.

Fischer, in an email to Otter, said: "I recently made some poor judgments that resulted in sharing photos of a hunt in which I did not display an appropriate level of sportsmanship and respect for the animals I harvested. While these actions were out of character for me, I fully accept responsibility and feel it is best for the citizens of Idaho and sportsmen and women that I resign my post."

Exactly. No remorse for needlessly killing those animals just for the fun of it. Arkansas Granny Oct 2018 #3

So his bad judgement was in sharing photos, not killing the animals depicted in them? Aristus Oct 2018 #9

as in harvest for survival.

I plant a garden and I harvest the produce to eat for my survival. Some people who hunt also harvest their prey and eat what they kill for survival.

But what this person did was not for survival but for Sport. And yes, he killed for the fun and thrill of it with disregard for life.

Perhaps the next time he goes on his sport killing spree, he will get his comeuppance and he becomes the prey!

He was going with his pastor and a group of volunteers to work on a church in Africa. The highlight for him was it included a hunting safari that allowed them to kill a set number of animals. The kill was to feed the locals. Included were baboons. I told him that I could not pull the trigger for that myself.

This bastard should have to fend for himself without benefit of any credentials/experience from his previous post.

I spit in his general direction.
