Just received my voter's pamphlet for the mid-terms. Main thing I got were the listings of the several initiatives that are on the ballot. I kind of knew where I was going on them, but wanted to double check. There's one on gun safety regs, one on ability of local jurisdictions to tax certain grocery items (not food), and one on police training for de-escalation of violence and to clarify the rules on "justified" shootings.
There's also an advisory vote on keeping a tax funded pipeline spill response budget going.
I'm pretty set on candidates, though I wasn't real familiar with the state reps running. Didn't see anything wrong with the Dems on the ticket, so no prob.
Ballots are supposed to be mailed out by Oct 19. I'm at the end of the alphabet, so I may not get mine til next week.
