Saudi Arabia delivers $US100m to US after Trump's 'rogue killers' rationale

Saudi Arabia promised the Trump administration $US100 million ($140 million) to help stabilise areas in Syria liberated from Islamic State.

That money landed in American accounts on Tuesday, US time, the same day that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo landed in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, for discussions with the kingdom's leaders about the fate of a missing Saudi dissident.

Securing the funding is a win for President Donald Trump, who has complained about how much the United States spends abroad and has tried to get allies to foot more of the bill. But the timing of the money's arrival raised eyebrows even among some of the bureaucrats whose programs will benefit from the influx of cash.

"The timing of this is no coincidence," said an American official involved in Syria policy who spoke on condition of anonymity. The official confirmed that the money arrived on Tuesday.

If this murder falls under the Magnitsky law, the money cannot enter the country. Or if it has already entered, it must be frozen until further notice. Nobody gets to use it in the meantime either.

Just VOTE BLUE!
We can do nothing until the political power changes from red to blue in DC.

It is truly the final shot we have.

Anytime money comes in from the Saudis we need to know EXACTLY where it's going and who's getting it.

Why? Besides allowing them to murder and torture a journalist, what has the US done to get this check?

Doesn't make Trump look like a damn thing, just a wanna be Tony Soprano. Who's next on your hit list Saudi?
