This is all another example of Trump using the "both sides" argument. Donald first used it in Charlottesville when he said some of those on the Nazi side were "fine people." And now he is trying to say "both sides" incite violence. But yet -- only one side is receiving bomb threats.
It's just more BS and manipulation from our propaganda artist "President" (who lost by 3 million votes and only won the Electoral College with the help of the FBI and Russia)
Hillary should re-tweet Pat Cunnane.

(17,984 posts)I don't get it. It's just a gif of the Rump during his rally before the election. There are subtitles with his words, "Nothing you can do folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know". I bet you could still find it if you do an image search.

(1,896 posts)But the other thing which has always struck me about that quote is how he speaks of "the Second Amendment people" as a completely separate group which he has nothing in common with and never will. John Kerry goes out and hunts some waterfowl on camera in an effort to fit in with hunters and shooters and relate to them as a community, but Trump makes no effort whatsoever to really identify with them and basically makes it plain that he sees them as the hired muscle, useful only as tools for intimidation. He promises to champion their cause, dares them to support the opposition, but he's excruciatingly clear that he is not one of them and that's the way he likes it.
The implied request to assassinate his rival aside, the disconnect between Trump and his voters' actual lifestyles really jumps out at me with that one.
