I teach 8th graders. Every morning we watch CNN 10 which is 10 min of current events. Today the exp

explosive devices were discussed.

It had a map and pin pointed where each one went and who the target was.

My para when it showed Soros proclaimed he was evil and then butted in when I was discussing it that no one knows who sent the packages and said it could be from someone who hated Trump and was trying to make him look bad.

She went to get coffee and I set the class straight=I also emailed administration

Let the class know that is not what CNN was reporting and for facts it's important to seek valid news sources not just listen to someone's opinion

This is not a gray area, just something for which there is not yet an answer.

I guess I was more mature for my age in the 8th grade. Just saying. You need to have a talk with that para.

There was the lesson for the kids: the hostility, namecalling, mindless scapegoating, etc, just what she did, probably psychologically dnabled the bomber. After all, trump said he'd pay the legal bills of those who reacted violsntly towards his "enemies" at their rallies.

It nice to have so assistances especially if you have a large class but obviously she doesn’t have the education or the experience to be a teacher. I would take her aside and say stfu

She was a special education teacher before she retired. And yes, a class that size does need a para.

and I get a different one.

The kids hate her and their behavior is bad because they want to make her cry

I tell them it reflects on me when they are so disrespectful and they apologize but then they do it over and over again.
