This might even have happened with Bart O'Kavanaugh, except for being told to do their jobs with their hands tied behind their back and standing on one leg. Oh, and prohibited from interviewing suspects and accusers. And assigning only a couple of agents to the job.

(82,849 posts)I was "wait-and-see" earlier this week. As the number of bombs multiplied, my confidence in law enforcement rose. I admit that the politicization of so many things recently (e.g., locking up refugee children in animal cages) has diminished my confidence in a lot of our society's organizations, governmental and non-governmental.
Assuming the fellow arrested is truly our Mad Magabomber, then law enforcement has done a stellar job.
