Former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos considering withdrawing guilty plea

The former Trump campaign adviser whose actions helped spark the federal probe into Russian election meddling and admitted to misleading FBI agents is considering withdrawing his guilty plea.

George Papadopoulos told “Fox & Friends” on Friday he learned new information from congressional investigators that he “can’t publicly disclose” that has led him to rethink his agreement with prosecutors on special counsel Robert Mueller’s team.

“I believe there was tremendous misconduct on the government's behalf regarding my case,” Papadopoulos told “Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade. “And given certain information I learned just yesterday that I can’t publicly disclose right now, I’m actually even considering withdrawing my agreement I have come to with the government.”

You can't just change your mind after you are sentenced.
