From the Press Conference: A partial fingerprint was found on one of the

bombs, along with DNA, which was matched to DNA samples taken from the bomber after an earlier arrest. Fast work by the FBI, thanks in part to a program to catalog fingerprints and DNA on a nationwide basis, with samples taken from arrestees and convicted criminals.

Had this MAGAbomber been a sleeper who had not had contact with law enforcement, his fingerprints and DNA might not have been on file. But, since it was, that sped up his identification and arrest.

pull off strips over the self-sticking adhesive, some still use water-activated gum adhesives. I have both types here in my office.
