9. Way more wary

My husband has a close friend who is a trump supporter conspiracy nut. Over the past year I distanced myself from him and his wife I believe they are both mentally ill and not just because of politics.

I have been debating in my head if I will ever invite them over to our house in the future.
I don't want to be mean but after this I really don't ever want these people around me again.

My mother and brother inlaw are also both ultra conservative trump supporters and my mother inlaw is diagnosed mentally ill and I suspect my brother inlaw is also not just because of politics. I really don't want either around for the holidays. But I don't want to hurt my husband.

I worry about a couple of them becoming unhinged and going after my husband. He gets into it with them on politics. I’ve told him numerous times to not talk politics. If the Democratic Party wins the mid terms I worry about his safety if one of them becomes angry the repukes lose big.

I have just as much right to express my sentiments as they do, as long as we do it in a peaceful manner LIKE MOST NORMAL PEOPLE. These crazies and out of control people must realize that their actions such as this bomber, have serious, NEGATIVE consequences for them...thank god no one was hurt, but the intent was still there to hurt/maim others.
