Shame on the African-American leaders who allowed that sad display in the WH with Trump.

It was totally disgusting to any black person with any kind of decency and sense of history. i guess there are some self-haters among every group. I even saw one hand belonging to a black participant make the white power hand sign.

no one group is ever a monolith. You're gonna have folks of all backgrounds in every arena, no matter if they are wanted or not.

that's being watched by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups, for its association with the alt-right movement. https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2018/02/16/turning-point-usas-blooming-romance-alt-right

How they manage to sucker young black people into getting involved with an overtly racist organization is beyond me. But then, there are Log Cabin Republicans, too.

No one - Black or White - sanctioned this. It was a Turning Point USA event designed to help Trump.

I don't think Trump's people would have invited this group unless they were pretty sure how they would react. I also have no proof of what I am saying, but we all know how Trump hates to be embarrassed. So...….

Because, apparently, white people are a monolith who all think alike with a few leaders having control over all the rest.

Or not.

You need to change your title. What exactly is a Black leader? There are Blacks that take a public profile, but they are no more "Black Leaders" than Whites that take similar profiles are White leaders.

I honestly think that people that make common ground with people that dispise them simply for who they were born as are damned fools, full stop. An LGBTQ person that supports a politician that cater to LGBTQ hating people is a damned fool, as is Bkacks that support a politician that speaks kindly of Nazis.
