Not that they are perfect, but having paper in your hand gives a sense of confidence that touch screens can't. Computers can mess up or be messed up and if you don't catch it, then you basically become disenfranchised.

Good luck out there!

But even as she's handling the eSlate machine, you can see how cumbersome it is and the array of buttons and dials seems designed to foil anyone who doesn't have full possession of their faculties. If you have Parkinson's or you're cold or nervous, it looks like it would be real easy to hit a button more than once and not realize it.

And once again, all the reports seem to be switching from D-to-R, not R-to-D. So amazingly coincidental, it almost seems deliberate.

There is one machine that is portable that you can take outside for disabled voting.

Two years ago, I was the election judge for a primary run off and the Judge Booth Controller crashed 7 times. It was fun but my count of voters was the same as the JBC and so no votes were lost. These machines are old

Either way it goes. Sorry Gothmog, but TX voting is positively Byzantine.

since these hackable machines don't have a paper trail I can see where this law needs to be changed in regards to our own ballots!
