Republicans love to talk tough. They think that tough talk is what passes for strong leadership. But, tough talk that makes up its own facts to serve its own purposes is just a con job. It has no brakes, no self-checking and by design, shakes up emotions rather than stimulates reason. It is meant to draw supporters that will form walls of resistance. What is it that we call them in a time of war? They're cannon fodder.

And if one of them decides to break through and go rogue, well, that is just a natural outcome. And this is what Republicans need to understand. We are not going to give them a pass on their crazies. They own it.
