A thread in solidarity with the democrats of Brazil...

...who are going to face terrible challenges in the months and years to come. Ono of my best friends is a Brazilian woman who lives in Europe. She's told me many times that the people of Brazil inoculated themselves against tyranny as a result of the dictatorship that formerly ruled there. She now admits that she was over-optimistic, that social media and years of planned crises overcame the democratic instincts of the people. She's afraid to return home. Already, military goon squads have invaded college campuses to remove anti-fascist literature and shut down classes...in order to protect Brazil from "Communism", of course. Much, much more of this is coming. And our "President", of course, has already expressed friendship with the shitstain who is Brazil's new ruler. The Fascist International has chalked up a big win--maybe even bigger, in the long run, than Russia.
