Gov. Terry Bransted (R - corn pone) is a lying douche.
IOW, he's a typical Republican.
The Iowa Governor was just on with Chucky talking about the droughts impact on his state. Somehow he managed to twist the discussion to the FDA and food stamps, which he then used as a way to rail against Obama and his elimination of welfare work requirements.
Even Chuck couldn't let that go unanswered. He explained that that wasn't true, but Bransted, using the well-honed GOP technique of never-stop-talking, kept repeating his lie. Chuck tried to explain several times that the waivers were FOR Governors like him, and they would be revoked if there was not an INCREASE in work requirements, but Terry just kept talking. "Obama never believed in welfare reform, he just wants to give away food stamps to everybody." Chuck once again told Bransted that he was simply wrong on the facts, but Terry essentially said the same thing Newt did over the weekend...we just don't believe he'll do it. Despite the fact that it is specifically a part of the Executive Order that states must have their own plan to increase jobs by 20% in order to get a waiver.
Terry Bransted is just another lying GOP POS.
