Baldwin weighs in on migrant caravan while Vukmir claims endorsement from Condoleezza Rice

I think it is rather late for a big name such as Rice to step in and endorse vile Vukmir but I suspect it may sway some. Sign of desperation by the @GOP in my book. Tammy Baldwin has always had the lead and I have faith she will prevail although LOTs of dark money is coming into Wisconsin to beat her and for Walker to win.
Also, I am glad Tammy took the time to give some examples of how she is trying to help the everyday lives of people---including Black folks.

MADISON - U.S Sen. Tammy Baldwin said President Donald Trump has been trying to score political points on immigration as the the caravan of Central American migrants continues toward the U.S. border.

..............................As Baldwin began answering questions from reporters Thursday, a man interrupted Baldwin asking her to explain why black residents of Wisconsin should vote for her and what she would do or has done to address shootings in the black community.

“Why do you want our vote or do you want our vote?” said the man, who the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel was unable to identify.

After a back and forth during which Baldwin asked the man to make an appointment to discuss his concerns with her, the man became upset because his questions were not initially being answered. Baldwin said she wanted the man’s vote and outlined her support for a tax plan that would increase the rate at which a tax credit for families living in poverty phases in for working parents, and support for providing more money for families in lower-income households.

She also said she supports legislation that would ban employers from asking prospective employees to disclose criminal convictions during the first phases of a job screening, and making changes to the criminal justice system, among other measures.

“That’s what I’m talking about,” the man said before he left. He left in good spirits.

Also Thursday, Vukmir received an endorsement from former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

She said Vukmir "has the vision and experience to help Wisconsinites prosper," and understands "the challenges facing working-class families across the state.".............[ ha ha ha]
