Women Beware! Viagra Is Now Generic!

Websites are popping up everywhere that let men order the ED medication online. No doctor visit. Fill in a form, answer a few questions and a "doctor" will prescribe for you. Then, your cheap, little blue pills will arrive at your door with "Free Shipping."

There are risks to be carefully assessed.

... of hormonal decrease and libido decrease at some point. Not every couple, of course. But it was nature's way. I don't want to get too explicit here, but it allowed aging bodies to avoid some of the issues of more fragile skin, and so on.
But if Granddad can just pop this pill and get the easy hard-on, well, Grandmom might feel obligated to go along with him ("Hey! I paid for this boner! We gotta use it!&quot .

Just being honest here. Why would women worry? Because a man with a boner is a mixed blessing.

Summary:
An increasing number of 70 year olds are having good sex and more often, and women in this age group are particularly satisfied with their sex lives, according to a new study. Knowledge about sexual behavior in older people (70 year olds) is limited and mainly focuses on sexual problems, less is known about "normal" sexual behavior in this age group.

more--
"Our study...shows that most elderly people consider sexual activity and associated feelings a natural part of later life", they conclude.

And as far as it being Grandma's fault sex stops:
"Interestingly, both men and women blame men when sexual intercourse stops between them. his finding replicates the results of other studies in the 1950s and 2005-06."

With decades of data it's one of the safest drugs out there. Yeah you hear bad stories about it, but we're talking out of tens of millions of daily uses you will get someone having complications. It's available over the counter in the UK.

As an RN, I've already seen a bit of the fallout from his new-ish industry. People taking them who shouldn't be can find themselves in a world of hurt, or worse, in very little time.

The stuff from India is going to be just as good as the stuff from a US manufacturer.

I am sure that customs is glad they don't have to capture counterfeits now since the manufacturers will stop making them and just sell their generic variant.

MineralMan, you've been able to order "little blue pills" (that probably don't actually work..."sorry sir, we have checked our records and millions of men are perfectly happy with our products. You have a condition that can't be treated by our products. Sorry, no refunds.&quot from these websites for years.

Pfizer is weeping that their cash cow is gone and sildenafil has a proven history of efficacy and safety. It's going to be like aspirin at one point. You can even get it over the counter in the UK now. It'll be available in the US over the counter I reckon in the next few years.

There are a lot of men who have ED issues from conditions like diabetes. For some of them, daily dosing with sildenafil is a good route for recovering some function, and that has been cost prohibitive before now.

There are a lot of cruel jokes around this site about ED. No matter how many times someone hears that it’s not uncommon, or that it doesn’t make someone less of a man, it is a huge blow psychologically if it becomes an ongoing problem. And no more so than when someone is in a relationship where that intimacy is wanted but can’t be provided. ED is more of an issue than dirty old men wanting unnatural erections.

I completely agree that the same level of emphasis and, more importantly, insurance coverage, needs to be applied to all aspects of women’s health, and that’s an ongoing injustice. But it doesn’t mean that ED should be a punchline.
