On Morse Rd, waiting in a line to drop off my ballot. The outside box is only open when the BOE is. I'm car # 5( my arthritic knees aren't happy today, so I am waiting in a line like drive up banking).
There are easily 400 people OUTSIDE in line to vote.
B/C this site is a converted department store, the parking lot is quite large. There were no handicapped spots available and it looks like all 500 spots are filled up.
This is a BFD to quote VP Biden.

(2,191 posts)Wow, that's crazy. In northern California I dropped off my permanent absentee ballot in a box outside my city's City Hall. It's on a busy street, so I went by at about 10pm. Of *course* the box was available for me to drop off my ballot.
They don't want people voting in Ohio, do they? At least, they don't want to make it easy.

There aren't benches to sit on outside. I'd recommend early & bringing a collapsible lawn chair

(262 posts)Northern County to Franklin, line stretched out the door, down the hall, and it the door onto the side walk. Maybe 30 minute wait at 1:30 PM.

(37,648 posts)Although I and other "liberals" showed up to vote...make no mistake: there is enthusiasm among Trumpers. My local community FB group has been turned into something akin to a far rightwingnut FB page. I'm thinking of leaving the group.
