One Day ... Vote ... 6 November 2018 Accountability

It boils down to accountability. Living in the real world, “what does one bring to the table?”

Does one accept lying or not? Does one accept cheating or not? Does one accept stealing or not. Does one tolerate those who do?!?!?

“Will one allow a person to openly, deliberately LIE to one's face without holding that person accountable ...?” You let people lie to you, cheat you, and steel from you - then of course they lie to you, cheat you, steal from you. People in government have a public trust to be open, honest, and trustworthy.

‘We The People’ have a responsibility to hold public officials accountable for their statements and actions! Trying to excuse bold face lying, open corruption, and criminality by saying both sides do it, makes one complicit.

It is always the Civil Rights Era. When government suppresses peoples’ right to vote for any reason, when government actively removes peoples’ protections under the law, or subverts/obstructs justice for people then it is imperative to take a stand against and to resist.

Ours is government of laws. It is up to us to ensure open, honest, and ethical government for all.
When referring to the President, I will always capitalize _Obama_.
