Who was that Beth on MSNBC?

Already pushing the meme that voters don't want to see fighting. And that it is going to likely be a Republican held Senate that will make it difficult for anything to get passed. I think she was suggesting, IMO, that a Democratically controlled House had better play nice.

Seriously, if there is a blue wave, do you think that the voters want the Democrats to play nice? Or that they take their checks and balance responsibilities seriously?

If Republicans win a squeaker of a race by a vote (or lose by nearly 3 million votes), they automatically win a mandate, and everything they want (whether they campaigned on any particular issue or not) magically morphs into the Will of the American People. Democrats who win an election, by whatever margin, are supposed to keep the minority in mind at all times, and put forward proposals and programs that are satisfying to that losing minority.

Isn't that a great system?

and I am getting pretty goddamn sick and tired of this shit - as Claire McCaskill calls us "crazy Democrats"

If we win, we cannot EVER fucking EVER let them get one inch on us - they cannot ever be allowed to be in any majority position again
they have nearly ruined the United States of America
