It's not going to hurt them any, and they know it. And plenty of them derive pleasure at the thought that the younger people will be fucked over.

Most of them come from a time when it was acceptable to look down on "the other" (racial minorities, people from other counties, gay people, etc.). Those attitudes should be outdated but I'm beginning to doubt they ever will be.

My grandfather was born in the 1880s and that pretty much describes his mentality. He despised Hubert Humphry.

4. A lot of senior citizens are "poorly educated" as Trump puts it. Many do not have

college degrees. You don't have to have one to be smart, obviously, but we know that education explains a lot of voting behavior.
