as a bad night at all. We had a shitty opening hand with that Florida bullshit but we’re doing well now and the energy on camera reflects that.

When Democrats win, it’s called a loss.

So ridiculous.

I never expected us to take back control of the Senate, but I was hoping we could keep it 51-49.

They correctly anticipated a ratfucking weeks ago. I hope they follow through with the threats they made, and also do the same in Florida.

So yes. Bad night. We've picked the president every year since 1996. That does not portend well.

I despise Rick Scott. I have since he first slithered on the scene eight years ago.

That being said, I also got to see some godawful human beings like Kris Kobach and Corey Stewart lose tonight. I'm taking the good with the bad here.

The numbers showed him + in approval, over 50%, in Florida, though negative everywhere else.

2020 should be much better, as the byproducts of the Republican wave of 2014 will be on the ballots.

Compared to the disappointments of those nights, this is absolutely nothing.

I think if Florida hadn't continued its long, ugly devolution into red state hell, the mood here would be much better. That was the most painful blow tonight above anything else.

Think about the odds in those states. We are going to get more of them thrown out in 2020.
